Legislation

The FOP believes in taking control of it's future by affecting the political process.  We do this by being active in local, state and federal elections; as well as, working to pass new and improved laws to help law enforcement and the communities in which we serve.

In case you haven't heard, the governor signed the permanent disability bill for public safety officers. It will take effect July 1, 2009. Thanks to everyone that helped to support this bill by contacting and educating their legislators.-

A huge thanks to Jagosh and Teuber for their endless hours putting this together and rallying the troops!
