The Idaho Fraternal Order of Police is an organization which
represents the interests of law enforcement personnel from around the
state. All full members must be sworn peace officers. Our
lodges include both full members and associate members. Associate
members are those who work in law enforcement, but are not sworn, such
as Dispatchers, Community Service Officers, and Records Technicians.
The Idaho State Lodge was formed, June
12th 1998 in Pocatello Idaho. Our
membership now surpassing 1,000 active members. We are the largest
fraternal law enforcement organization in the state. There are
currently 30 local lodges which make up the Idaho State Lodge and
several more are being planned.
Our members are the peace officers and
personnel that serve you every day. In addition to their law
enforcement duties, our members are active members in their communities.
They are your coaches, Big Brothers, Sunday School teachers, and
neighbors. As members of the FOP, they also actively fight for the
rights and benefits of all members of law enforcement. If you
believe in the Peace Officers who serve you, we encourage you to support
the Idaho State Lodge and Local Lodges of the Fraternal Order of Police.
